Use this page to decide which starter template to use when creating a new policy. At the moment, the hub has one approved template, but this page gives us a place to add more template options later without changing the rest of the guidance.
Current Template Options
MoJ Policy Template
Use this for standard Ministry of Justice Digital, Data and Science policies.
- Best for new policies that follow the current hub structure
- Includes the required policy details, governance sections, review cycle, and support contacts
- Recommended starting point for most new policy work
How to Use This Template
- Open the template.
- Copy it into a new policy file.
- Replace the placeholder text with your policy content.
- Follow the step-by-step guidance in Adding a New Policy.
If we add more approved templates in future, they can be listed on this page alongside the standard option.
